Please join the U.S. Department of Transportation for a live webinar to learn about the Inclusive Design Challenge!
The Challenge will make up to $5,000,000 in cash prizes available to designers who develop solutions to enable individuals with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities to use automated vehicles. Stage I of the Challenge is now open and invites teams from academic and research institutions, the business sector, and technology companies to compete for one of several $300,000semifinalist prizes through the submission of proposals describing hardware or software solutions.
This webinar will provide participants with an introduction to the Inclusive Design Challenge, including:
- The objectives, structure, and timeline of the Challenge
- Rules and requirements for submitting a Stage I proposal
- Resources available to participants to support the development of their proposal
The webinar will also allow an opportunity to ask questions of U.S. DOT representatives.
For those who are unable to attend, the webinar presentation will be made available following the event on the Inclusive Design Challenge website.
